Ash Wood River

A River of Colours

Shapes that are caught somewhere in between recently organic and long fossilised shift between a deep blue and the warm red of a rising sun.

This sculpture can be wall-mounted or displayed as a free-standing object.

Materials and Process

A 6cm thick board of ash wood is sculpted freehand with an angle grinder. A CNC router cuts a precise spine on which laser cut paper slices are fitted.

Coloring is done using an airbrush.
