Lukas Böhm carves bold, abstract forms from solid wood and combines them with accurately cut slices of paper.

The resulting objects are colourful amplifiers of light and shape, always defying the attempt to grasp them from any one angle. They exist in the movement and the expectation of the viewer, their true colours always one step, one turn of the head away, their shape just a hint of form never to be fully revealed.

All the carving, shaping, and moving past things is being done in Dortmund, Germany.
